Keplr Wallet Step-by-Step Tutorial — Gravity DeX Edition
Learn how to claim your well-deserved Competition Rewards.

In this tutorial, we will see together all the steps to successfully claim the prize for your participation in the Gravity DeX Trading Competition.
In addition to $ATOM, sponsors’ tokens will also be distributed as competition rewards, namely:
• $LUNA (Terra)
• $REGEN (Regen Network)
• $BTSG (BitSong)
• $DVPN (Sentinel)
• $XPRT (Persistence)
• $AKT (Akash Network)
• $NGM (e-Money)
• $IRIS (IRISnet)
To receive the prize will be necessary to provide the organizers a mainnet address for each of the chains.
Although most of these networks are available via Keplr, they are not always available natively. So I invite you to go through the tutorial and check how to create a mainnet address for each of the Sponsors in 10 minutes.
As for the remaining Sponsors, Commercio Network, Desmos, Agoric, and Cyber, their share will be distributed to the winners in $ATOM, so the team will distribute them via the cosmos mainnet address you will indicate in the Google form.

⚠️ Check the cosmos address you provided during the registration process if:
• it belongs to a centralized exchange
• it belongs to a non-custodial wallet whose account cannot be imported into Keplr or which seed/mnemonic phrase is not made by 24 words,
• it’s a Keplr account which seed/mnemonic phrase is not made by 24 words
You MUST provide to the team a brand new cosmos address, created following the process described below. You have only 48 hours from the reception of the mail from communications@cosmos.network to forward your new address via Google form.
⚠️ Following May 21st, the funds will be undergoing the distribution process.
After this time, will not be possible to modify/provide any information .
⚠️ Keplr extension is officially supported only on Chrome.
It can also be used on Brave, but some features may be unavailable.
It isn’t possible to use Keplr extension from mobile.
⚠️ Pay attention to the websites you connect your Keplr wallet to and only download Keplr from the official website or from the link you can find in this tutorial. The same principle applies to any other wallet mentioned below.

- Go to this link and click the [Add] button
- [Add “Keplr”] window will show off.
Here you have to choose [Add Extension] - At the end of the download, you can start to interact with your browser extension by clicking on it.
- Now you have 3 options: import your account from a compatible* non-custodial wallet, import your Ledger account, or create a new one.
*[compatible] means a wallet that allows you to use the mnemonic/seed phrase to import your account to Keplr.
- If you are setting up Keplr for the first time:
In the initial pop-up window, choose [Import Existing Account]
If you have used Keplr before:
In the extension click on the silhouette in the upper-right corner, then the blue box [Add Account] & select [Import Existing Account] - Enter your mnemonic/seed phrase in the appropriate slot, separating the words by space & taking care to check that they are spelled correctly.
- Make sure you have imported the account with the correct derivation path, viewable by clicking on [Advanced].
Normally, the derivation path should be m/44'/…’/0/0/0, but if you see that importing the account via mnemonic on Keplr the cosmos mainnet address displayed is different from yours, it is possible that the derivation path ends with 1 (or another number) instead of 0.
If this is the case, all you have to do is start the process over and replace the last 0 with 1.
If you are interested in knowing more about the HD wallet derivation path, you can find more in the Keplr FAQ, section [General Questions]. - If you have just downloaded Keplr extension, it’s time to set your password! Choose carefully, if possible prefer a password you’re not using in any other application, and then click [Confirm].
If you have used Keplr before, this step will be skipped as you have already set your password when creating/importing your first account. - Select [Done].
- If you are setting up Keplr for the first time:
In the initial pop-up window, choose [Import Ledger]
If you have used Keplr before:
In the extension click on the silhouette in the upper-right corner, then the blue box [Add Account] & select [Import Ledger] - To complete the connection with your Ledger Nano Hard Wallet, follow the steps described in the pop-up that will appear (you can find a detailed tutorial here).
- Make sure you have imported the account with the correct derivation path.
If you are interested in knowing more about the HD wallet derivation path, you can find more in the Keplr FAQ, section [General Questions]. - If you have just downloaded Keplr extension, it’s time to set your password! Choose carefully, if possible prefer a password you’re not using in any other application, and then click [Confirm].
If you have used Keplr before, this step will be skipped as you have already set your password when creating/importing your first account. - Select [Done].
- If you are setting up Keplr for the first time:
In the initial pop-up window, choose [Create New Account]
If you have used Keplr before:
In the extension click on the silhouette in the upper-right corner, then the blue box [Add Account] & select [Create New Account] - Choose to have a seed/mnemonic phrase of 24 words, then take care to save them.
The safest way is to write the words on paper and store them in a secure place. Avoid taking screenshots of the words or copying them into your computer/phone notes. - Now enter a name for your account (you can change it later).
- You can change the derivation path by clicking on [Advanced], but this is optional and not suggested for how we are going to use Keplr.
If you are interested in knowing more about the HD wallet derivation path, you can find more in the Keplr FAQ, section [General Questions]. - Once you are sure that you have correctly transcribed the seed/mnemonic phrase, click on [Next].
- To confirm the creation of the new account, all you have to do is click on the words in the right order in which they appear in your seed/mnemonic phrase and press [Register].
- If you have just downloaded Keplr extension, it’s time to set your password! Choose carefully, if possible prefer a password you’re not using in any other application, and then click [Confirm].
If you have used Keplr before, this step will be skipped as you have already set your password when creating/importing your first account.
There is another option to create a new account with Keplr, which is [Sign in with Google].
This is not something I would recommend as will be not compatible with some external wallet, but you can find the whole process explained here.

The tokens listed above are natively supported in Keplr extension, so no additional action is required from your side.
To be able to visualize your mainnet addresses, manage your tokens and switch between networks you have two options:
- Click on the network name at the top of the extension and select from the drop-down menu the network you wish to view.
- Open the Dashboard and click on the network you wish to view from the menu on the left.

The tokens listed above are not natively supported in Keplr but can be added manually or linked to your extension.
💱 e-Money
- Go to wallet.e-money.com
- [Chain Add Request] window will show off.
Here you have to choose [Approve] - Now you have to authorize the connection between Keplr and e-Money:
In the [Requesting Connection] window, select [Approve] to continue. - Check now your Wallet by clicking on the [K] extension icon:
Among the networks you can select, you may notice that in the [Beta Support] section [e-Money Wallet] is now available. - You will now be able to visualize your mainnet address & manage your $NGM via the dedicated Dashboard.
🎶 BitSong
- Go to play.bitsong.io aand click [Connect Wallet] on the top-right.
- Scroll all down and select [Import Your Wallet] and click on the Keplr logo.
- [Chain Add Request] window will show off.
Here you have to choose [Approve] - Now you have to authorize the connection between Keplr and BitSong:
In the [Requesting Connection] window, select [Approve] to continue. - Check now your Wallet by clicking on the [K] extension icon:
Among the networks you can select, you may notice that in the [Beta Support] section [BitSong] is now available. - You will now be able to visualize your mainnet address & manage your $BTSG via the dedicated Dashboard.
⚙️ Persistence
- Go to wallet.persistence.one and select [Import an Existing Wallet]
- Now choose [Use Keplr]
- [Chain Add Request] window will show off.
Here you have to choose [Approve] - Now you have to authorize the connection between Keplr and Persistence wallet:
In the [Requesting Connection] window, select [Approve] to continue. - The window will now display
[Below account we’ve received from the Keplr browser extension.]
Select [Use] to continue. - Check now your Wallet by clicking on the [K] extension icon:
Among the networks you can select, you may notice that in the [Beta Support] section [Persistence Core-1] is now available. - You will now be able to visualize your mainnet address & manage your $XPRT via the dedicated Dashboard.
$LUNA (Terra) isn’t supported on Keplr yet, so you’ll need to download and install its native wallet.
- Go to https://www.terra.money/, click on [Download Station Wallet] and select your preferred option between Chrome Extension, MacOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android. For convenience, in this tutorial, we’ll choose [Chrome Extension].
- Click [Add to Chrome] and in the pop-up select [Add Extension]
- In the extensions bar at the top right of your browser, click on the Terra icon to get started.
- Select [Recover Existing Wallet] and, after having chosen name & password, import your account by writing the mnemonic/seed phrase.
- To complete the operation, click [Next].
- You will now be able to visualize your mainnet address & manage your $LUNA.
In case you don’t want to import your Keplr account to Terra Station, you can proceed to create a new account by clicking on [New Wallet].
If you are using a Ledger, please connect it by clicking [Access with Ledger].
